Causes I Support
Since 1992, I’ve primarily focused my non-profit and charitable endeavors on supporting underrepresented and disadvantaged children in the US and abroad.
Boys & Girls Club
Boys & Girls Clubs inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Boys & Girls Clubs annually serve 4.6 million young people, through membership and community outreach, at 4,738 Clubs throughout the country and BGCA-affiliated Youth Centers on U.S. military installations worldwide.
The Guardsmen
Since 1947, The Guardsmen has supported educational and outdoor initiatives with a focus on bettering the lives of at-risk youth in the Bay Area. Through fundraising efforts and events, such as the Christmas Tree Lot at Fort Mason, the Big Game Lunch, and the San Francisco Wine Auction, The Guardsmen raises more than $1 million annually. That means the organization can send 2,500 kids to camp and to outdoor education programs each year, and provide scholarships to more than 250 students at 78 private schools.
St. Martins
St. Martin’s is at the heart of change in the Kibagare slum in Nairobi, a place where poverty, substance abuse and sickness are an everyday occurrence. St. Martins offers a safe environment where almost 1,000 of the most vulnerable children from the Kibagare slum can thrive through education and be empowered to change the futures of their communities. We also serve breakfast and lunch 5 days a week for those being educated in the school and up to 800 who aren’t due to unfortunate financial constraints.
